Judas Kiss Production under way...

Editing the dailies
Going through the first scenes of acting that we shot, I saw how fortuitous some environmental factors can be in what is derived through the camera!

The late start had everyone really agitated, so the nervousness (Irene seeing Marian for the first time in years and introducing Barry, who is nervous to meet her) really played well in the actor's sublimation. It looked fabulous on the monitor!

I was playing without glasses or contacts in my scene, so facial squints and blinks really came across, which helped punctuate Franz's stress about being called in front of the House Committee, potentially losing Marian, going to jail, etc. It will accentuate how he transforms in prison, accepting things and resolving himself to pursuit of his own prerogatives: the facial stuff will be gone for later in the film, as well as the fact that he will be bigger (they feed you in prison, rather than let you starve yourself writing and typing all day).

I am very, VERY pleased!
