Invictus Films and Milkboy Recordings join forces for "Judas"

A new artistic alliance has sprung up between two creative companies from the Philadelphia area. Invictus Films, Incorporated and Milkboy Recordings have joined forces to create the sonic background for "The Judas Kiss", a feature film being shot in Philadelphia this Fall.

Invictus Films, created by Alexander Emmert of Valley Forge, began operations earlier this year in the hope of bringing more film production work into the Philadelphia area. With several area-specific projects in development, Invictus Films aims to create an ongoing, viable local production company that highlights Philadelphia and its artistic community by filming locally and pooling talent from the area in all aspects of production.

Milkboy Recordings, located in Ardmore, has provided local recording artists with quality studio service for several years. Under the stewardship of Tommy Joyner and Jamie Lokoff, Milkboy has expanded its artistic reach into other media, such as television, commercials, and composition provided stellar post-production sound on Tritan Northstar’s full-length feature film "The Vault". Joyner and Lokoff also wrote the score and helped with post-production sound for 9.14 Pictures’ short "What a Friend I Have in Jesus", coming up with some creative touches on this humorous film (written and directed by Don Montrey) that should truly make it memorable.

The collaboration of the two companies will facilitate post-production sound, an original score and an original song for "The Judas Kiss", utilizing local musicians to perform the music written by Joyner and Lokoff for the film.
